The House of Sarave

A tribute to classical formulation — real absolutes, poetic composition, and twelve hours of presence on skin.

Crafting Sarave Perfume
The Composition

Formulated in Absolute Rarity

Every Sarave bottle is built at 25% perfume concentration, aged under controlled temperature until the notes settle into one another. We source real absolutes rather than synthetic replicas — the kind of raw material most houses have stopped using because it costs more and takes longer.

Our perfumers treat a fragrance the way a poet treats a stanza: each note is placed with intent, so the scent has a beginning, a turn, and a drydown that stays with you long after the opening has faded.

The Visionary

A Message from Our Founder, Sachin

Sarave Perfume was born out of a desire to create something enduring. In an era where mass-produced scents dominate the shelves, often fading within hours and relying on fully synthetic formulations, our founder, Sachin, envisioned a return to the golden age of classical formulation.

Sachin's inspiration dates back to early childhood memories visiting the traditional attar markets of Old Delhi. There, master formulators blended rich botanical oils that aged gracefully on skin for days. The contrast with modern commercial sprays—which are often loud at first spray but quickly dissolve into synthetic base notes—sparked a lifelong obsession with natural distillation.

"We don't create perfumes to merely smell good for a fleeting moment. We design them to be personal chronicles. A fragrance should settle on the skin like poetry, revealing layers of resinous Oud, fresh Turkish Rose, or creamy Mysore Sandalwood as the day unfolds."

— Sachin, Founder & Creative Director

To turn this vision into reality, Sachin spent years visiting remote forests and plantations across Cambodia, Turkey, and Southern India. By building direct, fair-trade partnerships with local families who manage the distillations, Sarave secures access to raw materials of unmatched purity, like wild-harvested Pursat Oud or dawn-plucked Damask Rose.

Our New Delhi laboratory functions more like a winery than a factory. Every batch undergoes a meticulous dual-maturation process: first, the pure oils are left to marry in dark chambers for four weeks; then, after blending with vegetable-derived alcohol, they mature for another six weeks. This patient process rounds out any harsh edges, resulting in a seamless, velvety drydown.

Under Sachin's guidance, Sarave remains fully independent. We bypass commercial shortcuts, opting to bottle and label our creations in small, hand-numbered batches. It is a slow, uncompromising path, but it is the only way to deliver a fragrance that holds its shape on skin for twelve hours and beyond—luxury defined by time, and crafted with absolute honesty.
